  En este ensayo se critica el paradigma de la transición democrática que sirvió para explicar el cambio político de múltiples naciones a partir de identificar las anomalías que contiene como modelo explicativo. Luego, se discuten sus dimensiones de análisis para identificar y criticar su postura ideológica porque prescribe: un tipo ideal de Estado funcional para la economía de mercado; y una forma de igualdad entre ciudadanos limitada al derecho de votar. El principal objetivo consiste en identificar las anomalías del paradigma porque pretende establecer los elementos analíticos que permitan criticar el modelo explicativo alternativo de la Calidad de la democracia

  This paper looks at the paradigm of democratic transition that served in explaining political change in several nations starting from the identification of the anomalies of this paradigm as an explanatory model. The dimensions of analysis are discussed in order to identify and criticize its ideological position, which provides: an ideal type of functional state for the market economy, and a form of equality between citizens limited to the right to vote. The main objective is to identify the anomalies within the paradigm since we aim to establish the analytical elements that will allow the criticism of the alternative explanatory model of the Quality of democracy.
