Esta investigación busca analizar la construcción social del ser hombre en un grupo de adolescentes de la ciudad de La Paz, Bolivia. Se sumerge en la reproducción de la masculinidad contrapuesta al discurso social para observar el sentido, significado, límites y dudas en relación a la experiencia del tener que ser hombre. A partir del análisis de cinco categorías estructuradas desde el discurso observado, encontrando, de esta manera, un núcleo central que no parte de la teoría, sino que la complementa.

This research seeks to analyze the social construction of being a man into a teenager’s group of La Paz City. Bolivia It delves into in the reproduction of masculinity against the social discourse to look deep into the meaning, sense, bounds, and doubts in relation to the experience of being a man. Starting from the analysis of five structured categories from the observed discourse to the finding of a central nucleus, which instead of emerging up from the theory it complements it.
