Resumen de A sustentabilidade de uma instituição de ensino superior pelo olhar de diferentes atores: convergências e divergências

  The organizations have sought to carry out sustainable activities that reconcile social, economic and environmental aspects, given the need to change their actions against environmental problems. However, the dissemination of these activities is not always coherent with the perceptions of the different organizational actors. Therefore, the present study proposes to analyze the convergences and divergences between the organizational discourse of sustainability and the actors' understanding of their practices. To achieve this objective, a qualitative and descriptive study was carried out at a higher education institution in the Alto Paranaíba region, through documentary research and interviews with four people linked to the organization. As a result, it was verified that, in both discourses, there is an appreciation of the socio-environmental responsibility activities developed by the institution and the recognition of its importance. However, there is not always the involvement of social actors in proposing community-oriented activities, as discussed in the official discourse. Moreover, this discourse does not recognize the strategic nature that sustainability has for the institution.

  As organizações têm procurado realizar atividades sustentáveis que conciliem os aspectos sociais, econômicos e ambientais, dada a necessidade de mudança em suas ações frente aos problemas ambientais. Contudo, a divulgação dessas atividades nem sempre se mostram coerentes com as percepções dos diferentes atores organizacionais. Por isso, o presente estudo propõe analisar as convergências e divergências entre o discurso organizacional de sustentabilidade e a compreensão de atores sobre suas práticas. Para atingir esse objetivo, realizou-se um estudo qualitativo e descritivo em uma instituição de ensino superior atuante na região do Alto Paranaíba, por meio de pesquisa documental e de entrevistas com quatro pessoas vinculadas à organização. Como resultado, verificou-se que, em ambos os discursos, há uma valorização das atividades de responsabilidade socioambiental desenvolvidas pela instituição e o reconhecimento da sua importância. Porém, nem sempre há o envolvimento de atores sociais na proposição das atividades voltadas à comunidade, como abordado no discurso oficial. Além disso, esse discurso não reconhece o caráter estratégico que a sustentabilidade tem para a instituição.
