Resumen de A questão dos recursos hídricos: um estudo para o município de Cascavel - PR

  Desenvolvimento sustentável é uma preocupação recorrente sendo, portanto, perenemente tratado. Neste contexto, encontram-se as questões ambientais e, entre os aspectos diretamente relacionados, está a disponibilidade e uso dos recursos hídricos. Sendo assim, esta pesquisa, de caráter empírico e exploratório, utilizando-se a técnica contábil, teve como objetivo elaborar o balanço contábil dos recursos hídricos, mensurando-se o ativo, o passivo e o patrimônio líquido ambiental hídrico, do município de Cascavel-PR, área que se encontra em meio a bacias hidrográficas. Os resultados encontrados permitiram verificar o crescimento do ativo e passivo, sendo este último em patamar superior ao primeiro, o que se refletiu em decréscimo do patrimônio líquido ambiental hídrico no período analisado. Apesar disso, foi possível evidenciar superávit hídrico no município. Mesmo diante disso, ressalta-se a importância de constante acompanhamento e gerenciamento da situação desse imprescindível recurso natural.

  Sustainable development is a recurrent concern and is therefore perennially addressed. In this context, there are environmental issues and, among the directly related aspects, is the availability and use of water resources. Therefore, this empirical and exploratory research, using the accounting technique, had the objective of preparing the accounting balance of water resources, measuring the assets, liabilities and net worth of the water environment of the municipality of Cascavel-PR, an area that is located in the middle of watersheds. The results showed the growth of assets and liabilities, which was higher than the first, which was reflected in a decrease in the net equity in the period analyzed. Despite this, it was possible to show water surplus in the municipality. Even before this, the importance of constant monitoring and management of the situation of this indispensable natural resource is emphasized.
