Resumen de Estigmatización Social de las Estudiantes de la Facultad de Enfermería que Cursaron con Embarazo Adolescente

  Introducción. El embarazo adolescente es un problema de salud que pone en riesgo tanto la vida de la madre como del hijo ya que durante esta etapa las mujeres pueden presentar múltiples complicaciones como endometritis puerperal y eclampsia. Según la organización mundial de la salud es considera el embarazo adolescente a la mujer de los 10 años hasta los 19 años. Objetivo. Identificar el estigma social de las estudiantes de la facultad de enfermería que cursaron con embarazo adolescente. Metodología. Estudio cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, descriptivo y transversal, se utilizó el instrumento que evaluó la estigmatización de las adolescentes construido por la escala tipo Likert, donde la muestra fue 44 estudiantes de la Facultad de Enfermería que cumplieron los criterios de evaluación. Resultados. se observa que el 40% de las encuestadas fueron de un rango de edad de 19 años, el 32.5% vive en unión libre, el 35% de las encuestadas fue de séptimo semestre; en cuanto al nivel de estigmatización el 72% de las estudiantes presentaron algún tipo de estigmatización social durante el embarazo. Conclusiones. Es importante que el personal de salud realice intervenciones educativas para disminuir el embarazo adolescente y así mismo la implementación periódica para el seguimiento de las adolescentes que presentan embarazo adolescente.

  Introduction: teenage pregnancy is a health problem that puts the life of both the mother and the child at risk since during this stage women can present multiple complications such as puerperal endometritis and eclampsia. According to the World Health Organization, teenage pregnancy is considered to be a woman between the ages of 10 and 19.  Objective: to identify the social stigma of nursing school students who studied with teenage pregnancy.  Methodology: Quantitative study, non-experimental, descriptive and transversal design, the instrument that evaluated the stigmatization of adolescents constructed by the Likert- Type scale was used, where the sample was 44 students from the Faculty of Nursing who met the evaluation criteria.  Results: it is observed that 40% of the respondents were in the age range of 19 years, 32.5% lived in a common law union, 35% of the respondents were in the seventh semester; Regarding the leve lof stigmatization, 72% of the students presented some type of social stigmatization during pregnancy. Conclusions: it is important that health personnel carry out educational interventions to reduce adolescent pregnancy and also the periodic implementation for the follow-up of adolescents who present adolescent pregnancy.
