    RESUMENEste artículo reporta el tratamiento ortodóncico-quirúrgico de un paciente con fisura labio palatina bilateral en la clínica de Labio y Paladar Hendido de la Universidad del Valle. El paciente presentaba una maloclusión esquelética y Angle de clase III, con mordida cruzada anterior y posterior, con severa constricción maxilar, rotación posterior mandibular y premaxila flotante. La maloclusión fue corregida mediante aparatología fija estándar slot 0.022x0.028 pulgadas, Hyrax en el maxilar superior y finalmente se realizó retroceso mandibular y mentoplastia de avance. Además se envió al paciente a rehabilitación oral para la determinación de un frente estético en la zona anterior superior y así mejorar los resultados respecto a la mini y micro estética del caso.
