The introductory physics sequence is a requirement for many undergraduate life-science majors. Pre-health profession students tend to have an unfavorable attitude toward taking a physics class.1,2 One method to improve attitudes is to integrate components of real-world applications.3,4 In this paper, a lab is presented that integrates principles of exercise physiology and physics to create an experience that benefits a variety of students.
