    En este artículo se describe un caso con diagnóstico clínico y serológico (ELISA) de infección por el virus dengue, que presentó una variedad de complicaciones entre ellas las que involucran el sistema nervioso central. Los autores presentan las principales características relacionadas con el virus, su epidemiología, y las principales afecciones en el sistema nervioso central.

    In this I articulate the case of a patient is described with I diagnose clinical and the ELISA technique of infection by the virus fever, who presents a variety of complications among them the ones that involve the central nervous system. The authors present the main characteristics related to the virus, their epidemiology, and the main affections in the central nervous system.
