El período analizado comprende desde los inicios de Neuquén como provincia (1958) hasta la transición democrática (1989).AbstractThe objective of this article is to reflect on the political system of the province of Neuquén, Argentina, in the recent past, characterized by the dominance of the Neuquén Popular Movement (MPN), and by the attempts of the Justicialist Party (PJ) and the Radical Party (UCR) to win the elections. This period covers from the beginning of Neuquén as a province (1958) until the democratic transition (1989).
