Programa de ballet adaptado en niños con hemiplejia

    La hemiplejia es un tipo de parálisis cerebral que cursa con parálisis del brazo y pierna en el lado opuesto al hemisferio dañado. También tienen un déficit en el control postural y el equilibrio. El objetivo de este proyecto es realizar un estudio experimental de 9 meses el cual se divide en tres fases: primera de tratamiento convencional de fisioterapia, segunda fase de tratamiento convencional más actividad física de ballet y la última fase de tratamiento convencional. Para valorar las mejoras del equilibrio y simetría corporal de cada fase se usará la Pediatric Balance Scale y la Early Clinical Assessment Balance y la escala APS para valorar si incrementa la participación del niño.

    Obtener resultados significativos en este estudio, puede resultar un camino prometedor para el tratamiento en niños con hemiplejia y un abordaje terapéutico enmarcado dentro de la Clasificación Internacional del Funcionamiento, de la Discapacidad y de la Salud.

    Hemiplegia is a type of cerebral palsy that causes paralysis of the arm and leg on the side opposite the damaged hemisphere. They also have a deficit in postural control and balance. The objective of this project is to carry out a 9-month experimental study which is divided into three phases: the first phase of conventional physiotherapy treatment, the second phase of conventional treatment plus ballet physical activity and the last phase of conventional treatment. To assess the improvements in balance and body symmetry of each phase, the Pediatric Balance Scale and the Early Clinical Assessment Balance will be used, and the APS scale will be used to assess whether the child’s participation increases.

    Obtaining significant results in this study may be a promising path for the treatment of children with hemiplegia and a therapeutic approach framed within the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health.
