    En este trabajo se comprueba que en un ritual de sacrificio prehispánico llevado a cabo en el siglo I, la selección de personas no fue arbitraria y proyecta cierta clasificación social en cuanto a la conformación de los grupos de la sociedad teotihuacana. El análisis se basa en ciertas características fisiológicas que los esqueletos reflejan indirectamente e implican diferencias de salud, como efecto de distintos modos de vida y papeles sociales. Éstos parecen estar representando, por la forma en que se distribuyeron espacialmente en el contexto ritual, símbolos míticos. El objetivo es determinar el juego de correlaciones que estructura la representación ritual en función de las posiciones de los cuerpos y localización espacial de los mismos, las ofrendas, algunas características biológicas y características culturales como son las mutilaciones e incrustaciones en los dientes, así como definir el comportamiento de la variabilidad en el grupo del templo de Quetzalcóatl.

    This work pretends to prove that the selection and grouping of people in a prehispanic sacrifice ritual, carried out during the first century, it was not arbitrary; in contrast, it could be projecting a kindof social classification according to the social groups in the teotihuacan society. This analysis is based on certain physiologic characteristics, since the skeletons indirectly reflect different healthy states as a result of the different kind of life and social papers they had in life. These skeletons look showing mystíc symbols according to their spatial distribution in the ritual context. The goal is; not only to determine thc correlation and opposition of the bodies in the ritual representation; but also, the distance and the spatial locatíon between them; the offerings; the biologic characteristics, like the health conditions, the sex, the age; the cultural background, like mutilations, incrustations in the teeth, and the spatial distributionof skeletons; and finally, to define the varieties of behavior in the group of the Quetzalcoatl temple.
