    • This article aims to systematically evaluate the application effect of 3D virtual learning environment in language learning, analyze its advantages and disadvantages, and propose corresponding improvement suggestions. The threedimensional virtual environment with the support of virtual reality technology can create a realistic learning situation and guide the teaching methods. Develop “student-centered” oral English learning activities in a multi-user virtual environment. In the process of teaching, we use films to record students’ activities in the virtual environment, organize students to watch after the event, as teaching feedback. Based on the theory of multi-modal discourse analysis and the web-based course mode of virtual reality technology, this paper explores the new teaching mode of multi-modal virtual English course in the future, with a view to effectively improving students’ comprehensive English application ability. Research has shown that the virtual environment of the laboratory is a platform for constructing virtual simulated learning scenarios, proving that this method helps improve the learning effectiveness of learners in online language learning. Research has shown that students entering this realistic three-dimensional simulation language environment can smoothly apply what they have learned to their daily lives and solve practical problems.
