El articulo indaga sobre la integración y el rol de los movimientos sociales en la puesta en escena del poder popular constituyente. Para lo cual, realizamos un trabajo comparativo entre el proceso constituyente de Bolivia (2006-2007) y el actual proceso constituyente de Chile (2019-2021). El fin de dicha comparación es buscar formular proyecciones que vislumbren maniobras para el proceso chileno, y comprender como el despliegue político y la correlación de fuerzas políticas previas determina el carácter del mecanismo constituyente.

The article investigates the integration and role of social movements in the staging of popular constituent power. For this purpose, we carry out a comparative work between the constituent process in Bolivia (2006-2007) and the current constituent process in Chile (2019-2021). The purpose of such comparison is to seek to formulate projections that envision maneuvers for the Chilean process, and to understand how the political deployment and the correlation of previous political forces determine the character of the constituent mechanism.
