    El presente trabajo se propone comentar tres hechos biográficos de la vida de Platón expuestos por el filósofo en la Carta VII. Estos tres hechos biográficos son: la tiranía de los 30, el juicio y muerte de Sócrates, su periodo de viajes a Sicilia. El comentario tiene como objetivo mostrar cómo es una preocupación política y educativa lo que guía la actividad filosófica de Platón.

    The present paper aims to comment about three biographical facts from Plato’s life exposed by him in the seventh letter. These are: the tyranny of the 30s, the trial and death of Socrates and the period of this travels to Sicily. The commentary aims to show how it is a political and educational concern that guides Plato’s philosophical activity.
