Resumen de Buenos Aires Poetry: un proyecto de canon de la poesía anglófona en traducción

Buenos Aires Poetry es una editorial y una revista que desde 2013 publica poesía original en español y traducida de otros idiomas. Si bien hay cinco números de la revista en formato impreso, este artículo analiza la publicación online, ya que en los estudios sobre revistas de poesía no hay todavía en nuestro ámbito enfoques específicos en las publicaciones digitales. A través del análisis del portal www.buenosairespoetry.com se busca determinar las motivaciones en la conformación del canon de poesía extranjera (en particular, la escrita originalmente en inglés) en relación con la poética que sustenta la revista.

Buenos Aires Poetry is a publishing enterprise and a journal that publishes poetry originally written in Spanish, and in translation, since 2013. Although there are five printed issues of the magazine, this article concentrates on the online publication, considering that there are not yet enough critical studies on digital poetry magazines. Through the analysis of the portal www.buenosiarespoetry.com the purpose of this article is to determine the motivations behind the canon of foreign poetry (particularly that originally written in English) formed by the magazine, and the translations in relation with the poetics of the journal.
