Intimismo y narrativa textual: una nueva perspectiva del fotolibro contemporáneo

    Este artículo de investigación tiene como objeti-vo ahondar en la percepción del fotolibro desde una perspectiva intimista en el que el texto se integra como complemento fundamental de la imagen, configurando así un nuevo tipo de na-rrativa. A partir del análisis histórico del fotolibro y el álbum familiar, se plantea la aparición de un fotolibro personal que diluye las fronteras entre lo público y lo privado. A su vez, la inclusión del texto como acompañante de la imagen, cada vez más frecuente en las últimas décadas, per-mite reconfigurar el fotolibro como una pieza ar-tística completa, con el potencial de extenderse más allá de las galerías y el coleccionismo limita-do, llegando así a todo tipo de espectadores. En este contexto, este estudio explora las últimas tendencias que perfilan el nacimiento de un nue-vo fotolibro que acumula estas características fundamentales y que se mueve en un limbo aún dudoso entre el fotolibro y el libro. Pese a ello, se encamina con certeza a un nuevo método que invita a los artistas a convertir lo cotidiano y lo personal en un mecanismo para acercarse más al lector.

    This research article aims to delve into the perception of the photobook from an intima-te perspective in which the text is integrated as a fundamental complement to the image, thus configuring a new type of narrative. Based on the historical analysis of the photobook and the family album, the emergence of a personal photobook that blurs the boundaries between the public and the private is proposed. In turn, the inclusion of text as an accompaniment to the image, increasingly frequent in recent deca-des, it allows the photobook to be reconfigured as a complete piece of art, with the potential to extend beyond galleries and limited collecting, thus reaching all types of viewers. In this con-text, this study explores the latest trends that outline the birth of a new photobook that accu-mulates these fundamental characteristics and that moves in a still dubious limbo between the photobook and the book. Despite this, it is cer-tainly heading towards a new method that invi-tes artists to turn the everyday and the personal into a mechanism to get closer to the reader.
