Sebastián de Almonacid es uno de los artistas más controvertidos y desconocidos de cuantos trabajaron en Castilla en la transición del cuatrocientos al quinientos. En este artículo presentamos un documento inédito que registra el perdón de Viernes Santo concedido en 1492 por los Reyes Católicos a Sebastián de Almonacid, que identificamos con el artista toledano de igual nombre activo en Castilla en torno a 1500. Sebastián de Almonacid is one of the most controversial and unknown artists of all those who worked in Castile in the transition from the four hundreds to the five hundreds. In this article we present an unpublished document that records the Good Friday pardon granted in 1492 by the Catholic Monarchs to Sebastián de Almonacid, whom we identify with the Toledo artist of the same name who was active in Castile around 1500.
