  En Ecuador, el tema de la informalidad ha sufrido una variación notable debido a factores que interfieren directa e indirectamente en los últimos cinco años. La sociedad, a nivel nacional, enfrenta diversas situaciones que afectan a la economía de los hogares. El gobierno forma parte del proceso. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar las distintas variables que influyen en la informalidad que existe en Ecuador en los últimos cinco años. La metodología utilizada es bibliográfica, documental y descriptiva. Se concluye con el análisis comparativo de la informalidad en el transcurso del tiempo.

  In Ecuador, the issue of informality has suffered a notable variation due to factors that interfere directly and indirectly in the last five years. Society at the national level faces various situations that affect the household economy; the government is part of the process. The objective of this article is to analyze the different variables that influence the informality that exists in Ecuador in the last five years. The methodology used is bibliographic, documentary and descriptive. It concludes with the comparative analysis of informality over time.
