    En este artículo analizaré cómo se construye la composición narrativa del relato fantástico moderno a través del contraste de las perspectivas proporcionadas por los protagonistas y el espectador en la película The Babadook(2014) de Jeniffer Kent, en la cual se representa a través de una compleja urdimbre narrativa y simbólica un vínculo enfermizo de abuso madre-hijo. Para ello, basaré este estudio en el modelo de análisis narrativo de Luz Aurora Pimentel y recurriré a algunas consideraciones sobre el espacio de Gastón Bachelard. En consecuencia, identificaré los modos de articulación del sistema del relato fantástico de acuerdo con las delimitaciones teórico-críticas aportadas por Stephen King, Rosalba Campra, Omar Nieto y David Roas.

    In this article I will analyse how the narrative composition of the modern fantastic story is built contrasting the perspectives provided by the protagonist and the spectator in the filmThe Babadook(2014) by Jenniffer Kent, in which it is represented through a complex narrative and symbolic warp a sick bond of mother-son abuse.For this, I will base this study in the model of narrative analysis of Luz Aurora Pimentel and I will resort to some considerations about the space by Gaston Bachelard. Consequently, I will identify the modes of articulation of the fantastic story system according to the theoretical-critical delimitations provided by Stephen King, Rosalba Campra, Omar Nieto and David Roas
