Resumen de La cultura como herencia identitaria de los pueblos: tradiciones afrocubanas en el barrio África de Yaguajay

  La cultura popular es la que surge de manera espontánea y no académica entre los trabajadores y el pueblo en general, por ende, sus recursos materiales son escasos, mínimos. El presente trabajo se trazó como objetivo general diseñar una propuesta de acciones que contribuyan a la revitalización de las tradiciones culturales en el barrio África del municipio de Yaguajay. Se utilizó como perspectiva metodológica el estudio etnográfico, empleando el paradigma cualitativo, donde la recogida de información se efectuó a través de diferentes técnicas como fueron: el análisis de documentos, la entrevista y la encuesta. La muestra fue escogida de forma intencional. Según los resultados obtenidos se aprecia que las tradiciones culturales en el barrio África es un elemento conformador de la identidad de los lugareños y se consideró que la novedad e importancia práctica de la investigación estuviera dada por el vacío que llenara la misma, ya que hasta la actualidad no existía en el municipio un estudio científico acerca del quehacer cultural del mismo. Los resultados obtenidos contribuyeron a la reanimación de la tradición del barrio específicamente en los más jóvenes.

  The popular culture is the one that arises in a spontaneous and not academic way between the workers and the town in general, for ends, its material resources are scarce, meeting. The present work was traced as general objective to design a proposal of actions that they contribute to the revitalize of the cultural traditions in the neighborhood African of the municipality of Yaguajay. It was used as methodological perspective the study ethnography, using the qualitative paradigm, where the collection of information was made through different technical as they were the analysis of documents, the interview and the survey. The sample was chosen in an intentional way. According to the obtained results it is appreciated that the cultural traditions in the neighborhood African is an element conformation of the identity of the villagers and it was considered that the novelty and practical importance of the investigation was given since by the hole that filled the same one, until the present time a scientific study it didn't exist in the municipality about the cultural chore of the same one. The obtained results contributed specifically to the reanimation of the tradition of the neighborhood in the youngest.
