  • Resumen
    • Creativity and gamification are fundamental in sports learning, enhancing the educational experience and competitive performance. Sports creativity involves innovative and effective solutions, while gamification employs playful elements to motivate and enhance learning. This enables coaches to design programs that develop not only physical performance but also mental agility and emotional resil- ience. Creativity and gamification are essential in sports, enriching athletes’ training and performance.

Creativity is manifested in the ability to generate innovative strategies and movements, while gamifi- cation improves learning through playful elements. These approaches transform training into a more dynamic and personalized experience. Historically, creativity has been vital in various disciplines and today is key for adaptation and innovation in all areas, including sports. It is the result of the interaction between cognitive, emotional, and environmental factors, and is crucial for the development of unique motor and tactical skills. Cognitive resources such as divergent thinking and executive functions are fundamental for creativity in sports, allowing athletes to develop adaptive skills and creative solutions.

Creativity not only enhances physical performance but also strengthens mental agility and emotional resilience, preparing athletes to compete with confidence and originality.
