    PROBLEMA: El presente análisis aborda la insuficiencia de medidas adecuadas para facilitar la adquisición de vivienda digna en México, lo cual impacta en el cumplimiento de este derecho y pone en riesgo otros Derechos Humanos Fundamentales. Esto plantea la necesidad de investigar las barreras existentes para garantizar un acceso equitativo a la vivienda en el país. OBJETIVO:  Examinar la extensión y el impacto de los Derechos Humanos en relación con el derecho a la vivienda en México, para comprender cómo estas desigualdades influyen en la efectiva realización de este derecho fundamental. MÉTODO: Se utilizaron los métodos documental y analítico, el cual implicó una revisión íntegra de la bibliografía relevante sobre el tema con el propósito de formular conclusiones pertinentes a partir de los hallazgos obtenidos. RESULTADOS: El alto porcentaje de viviendas que requieren arreglos y ampliaciones indica una necesidad urgente de políticas públicas que no solo promuevan la construcción de nuevas viviendas, sino que también aborden la mejora de las existentes. CONCLUSIÓN: La creciente aceptación de la vivienda como un derecho humano fundamental, como se establece en el Programa Nacional de Vivienda 2021-2024; resalta la necesidad de integrar criterios de habitabilidad y bienestar en las políticas de vivienda.

    PROBLEM: This analysis addresses the lack of adequate measures to facilitate the acquisition of decent housing in Mexico, which impacts on the implementation of this right and jeopardizes other fundamental human rights. This raises the need to investigate existing barriers to ensuring equitable access to housing in the country. OBJECTIVE: To examine the extent and impact of Human Rights in relation to the right to housing in Mexico, to understand how these inequalities affect the effective realization of this fundamental right. METHOD: Documentary and analytical methods were used, which involved a complete review of the relevant bibliography on the subject in order to draw relevant conclusions from the findings obtained. RESULTS: The high percentage of housing requiring renovation and expansion indicates an urgent need for public policies that not only promote the construction of new housing, but also address the improvement of existing ones. CONCLUSION: The growing acceptance of housing as a fundamental human right, as set out in the National Housing Programme 2021-2024, underlines the need to integrate criteria of habitability and well-being into housing policies.
