Resumen de La integración de la gestión de redes en ambientes heterogéneos

  RESUMEN Actualmente, la gestión de redes heterogéneas afecta el desempeño de las infraestructuras en muchas organizaciones, tanto dentro como fuera del país, provocando pérdidas económicas y la degradación de la calidad de los servicios. La gran diversidad de estándares y organizaciones de normalización existentes para la gestión de redes y la no existencia de una guía para la selección de los mecanismos adecuados, hacen del diseño de un sistema de gestión integrada una tarea ardua. Esta investigación revisa las mejores prácticas en la gestión de redes heterogéneas, los estándares más utilizados, las recomendaciones de los fabricantes de herramientas de gestión y de dispositivos de red más reconocidos, la opinión de especialistas en el área, entre otros. Además, realiza un acercamiento a esta temática en el área de la gestión que permitirá a las organizaciones diseñar sistemas de gestión con un alto nivel de integración en ambientes de red heterogéneos.

  ABSTRACT Currently, the management of heterogeneous networks affects the performance of infrastructures in many organizations, both inside and outside the country, causing economic losses and the degradation of the quality of services. The great diversity of existing standards and standardization organizations for network management and the non-existence of a guide for selecting the appropriate mechanisms make the design of an integrated management system an arduous task. This research reviews the best practices in the management of heterogeneous networks, the most used standards, the recommendations of the most recognized manufacturers of management tools and network devices, the opinion of specialists in the area, among others. In addition, it makes an approach to this topic in the area of management that will allow organizations to design management systems with a high level of integration in heterogeneous network environments.
