Resumen de Teatro en Internet: procesos de digitalización y plataformización en el Centro de Documentación de las Artes Escénicas y de la Música (CDAEM)

  Esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la digitalización del medio teatral como sector de las industrias creativas. Para ello se atiende a la adaptación digital en la última década del Centro de Documentación de las Artes Escénicas y de la Música (CDAEM) ubicado en Madrid. Mediante una metodología mixta, se analizan las memorias de actividad del Instituto Nacional de las Artes Escénicas y de la Música entre 2012 y 2021 para comprender los procesos de digitalización del CDAEM. Se examina también el impacto de la Teatroteca, plataforma de préstamo online de grabaciones teatrales, en el contexto creciente de la plataformización web. A su vez, se observa la influencia de la pandemia por COVID-19 como agente impulsor de los procesos de digitalización del CDAEM. Esta investigación supone una aportación original al estudio de los centros de documentación teatrales y contribuye a actualizar los estudios sobre la presencia del teatro en Internet.

  This research aims to analyse the digitisation of the theatrical medium as a sector of the creative industries. To do so, it looks at the digital adaptation over the last decade of the Documentation Centre for the Performing Arts and Music (CDAEM) in Madrid. Using a mixed methodology, the activity reports of the National Institute for Scenic Arts and Music between 2012 and 2021 are analysed to understand the digitisation processes of each area of CDAEM’s work. It also examines the impact of the Teatroteca, a platform for online lending of theatrical recordings for streaming, in the growing context of web platformization. The influence of the COVID-19 pandemic is observed as a driving agent in the processes of digitisation and platformization of CDAEM. This research thus represents an original contribution to the study of theatre documentation centres and contributes to updating studies on the presence of theatre on the Internet.
