    Durante los últimos años, la devoción a las imágenes sagradas de las hermandades y cofradías se extiende a través de distintos medios y formatos. Sin embargo, esta difusión también conlleva cuestiones legales que deben ser tenidas en cuenta, máxime cuando terceros utilizan reproducciones de las imágenes sin el consentimiento de la hermandad. A lo largo de esta comunicación, se detallarán los mecanismos existentes en la actualidad para proteger los derechos e intereses legítimos de las hermandades y cofradías en lo referente a sus símbolos religiosos y devocionales.

    Over the last few years, devotion to the sacred images of the Brother hoods and Confraternities has spread through different media and formats. How ever, this dissemination also entails legal issues that must be taken into account, especially when third parties use reproductions of the images without the consent of the Brotherhood.

    Throughout this communication, we will detail the mechanisms that currently exist to protect the rights the legitimate rights and interests of the Brotherhoods and Confraternities with regard to their religious and devotional symbols.
