Este trabajo aborda la relevancia y necesidad del aseguramiento adecuado del patrimonio de las hermandades y cofradías de la Iglesia católica, centrando el análisis en la Mutua UMAS como un actor clave en este proceso. Se abordan sucintamente los aspectos jurídicos, económicos y religiosos que intervienen en la protección del patrimonio de estas entidades, destacando la importancia de un enfoque integral que contemple la protección material. A esta compañía de seguros le gustaría poder asegurar el contenido espiritual que atesoran este tipo de bienes y, siendo esto último de todo punto imposible, sí estamos seguros de poder estar al lado y saber estar acompañando en el caso, no deseable, de que el siniestro se diera

This paper addresses the relevance and need for adequate insurance of the Heritage of the Brotherhoods and Confraternities of the Catholic Church, focusing the analysis on Mutua UMAS as a key actor in this process. It deals succinctly with the legal, economic and religious aspects involved in the protection of the assets of these entities, highlighting the importance of a holistic approach..
