El presente trabajo analiza los aspectos constitutivos de la estructura formal y lógico propositiva del relato ejemplar, así como su dimensión pragmática con el objeto de poner de relieve la relación entre la ejemplaridad y la soberanía. A través del mecanismo de exclusión e inclusión, de su propia ley interna, el exemplum se constituyó en un dispositivo de poder toda vez que permitió delimitar la conformación del orden jurídico y lo que quedaba excluido de él y, más aún, constituir la identidad política del soberano como piedra angular del sistema jurídico.

The present work analyzes the constitutive aspects of the formal and logical propositional structure of the exemplary story, as well as its pragmatic dimension in order to highlight the relationship between exemplarity and sovereignty. Through the mechanism of exclusion and inclusion, of its own internal law, the exemplum became a device of power since it made it possible to delimit the formation of the legal order and what was excluded from it and, even more, to constitute political identity. of the sovereign as the cornerstone of the legal system.
