Resumen de El avañe’ẽ en la gran ciudad. Los desafíos que enfrenta el idioma guaraní en Buenos Aires

El guaraní se caracterizó siempre por ser uno de los idiomas originarios que más se resistió a la colonización y a muchos intentos de su desaparición a lo largo de la historia. En este artículo haré un recorrido por los eventos históricos que atravesó este idioma y en consecuencia invitaré a una reflexión acerca de los mecanismos que se pusieron en juego para superar las dificultades que fue encontrando hasta llegar a un presente de vitalidad y crecimiento sistemáticos. Además, desde mi lugar como docente y hablante del avañe’ẽ(idioma guaraní), pondré especial atención al uso y transmisión de este idioma en la ciudad y en la provincia de Buenos Aires, donde tiene una importante presencia hace ya varias décadas y que además es enseñado en diversas instituciones educativas, incluso formando parte de la currícula de carreras universitarias.

The Guarani language has always been distinguished by being one of the indigenous languages, which has most resisted colonization and fought back attempts to its disappearance along History. In this article, I will write about all of the historical events the language has gone through and consequently, I will ask you to reflect on the mechanisms put at stake in order to overcome many difficulties this language has faced with until reaching its present systematic revitalization and growth. Besides, as I am a teacher and a native speaker of the Guarani language, I will highlight its use and transmission in the city and in the Province of Buenos Aires where its presence has been huge for several decades now and has been taught in different educational institutions as part of the university academic curricula as well.
