  Gran parte de la literatura argentina de las décadas del sesenta y el setenta se configuró como una “literatura de la lagrimita”, expresión utilizada por Leónidas Lamborghini. El culto al sacrificio, la santificación de los muertos, la erotización de la violencia y del dolor son algunas inflexiones recurrentes durante esos años, quizás una de las etapas más sangrientas de nuestra historia. Roberto Santoro se distancia de esas modulaciones elegíacas y apuesta por el humor negro, la ironía y la risa para caracterizar y denunciar a los militares o recordar a las víctimas. Este artículo propone rastrear los modos en que su poesía articula con el humor y con la política y, al mismo tiempo, da lugar a un discurso crítico, irreverente y lúdico. Para eso, nos detendremos en los textos que van de fines de los sesenta, pasando por su última publicación en vida, No negociable (1975), hasta algunos papeles póstumos (1976-1977).

  Much of the argentine literature of the decades of the sixties-seventies was configured as a “literature of tiny years”, an expression used by Leónidas Lamborghini. The cult of sacrifice, the sanctification of the dead, the eroticization of violence and pain are some recurrent inflections during those years, perhaps one of the bloodiest stages of our history. Roberto Santoro distances himself from those elegiac modulations and bets on black humor, irony and laughter to characterize and denounce the military or remember the victims. This article proposes to trace the ways in which his poetry articulates with humor and politics and, at the same time, gives rise to a critical, irreverent and ludic discourse.

  For that we will consider the texts that go from the end of the sixties, going through his last publication in life, Non-negotiable (1975), until some posthumous papers (1976-1977).
