Resumen de Impact On The Rights To Good Living And Nature Due To Illegal Mining In The Parish Of Buenos Aires, Province Of Imbabura

  • The main purpose of this research was to analyze the violation of the rights to good living and nature due to illegal mining activities in the parish of Buenos Aires, province of Imbabura. It was developed under a quantitative approach and a documentary-bibliographic design, making a critical analysis of various sources such as scientific research, articles, laws and refereed works. The study population was 1,893 inhabitants, according to the 2010 census, selecting a sample of 80 people through intentional and random sampling. The results show that, despite state measures, this illegal activity has left irreparable damage, affecting the inhabitants and the natural environment
