    Aquest article es basa en els ordines del pontifical de Roda i el pontifical romà de Vic, dos manuscrits de la primera meitat del segle xi. Se n'analitzen les variants en relació amb els ordines contemporanis recollits en els pontificals de tipus romanogermànic i anglès. L'objectiu és explicar les característiques noves i originals del ritu a l'entorn de l'any mil, arran dels treballs pioners de M. Andrieu, J. Barriga i R. Reynolds. Es para una atenció especial a la instrucció de l'escollit, a les uncions (cap i mans) i a les variants recollides als manuscrits.

    This paper is based on the ordines of the Pontifical of Roda and of the Vic Roman Pontifical, two manuscripts composed in the first half of the 11th century. Their variants are analysed in relation to the contemporary ordines transmitted by the pontificals of the Romano-Germanic and English type. The aim is to explain the new and original characteristics of the rite towards the year 1000, in the wake of the seminal work of M. Andrieu, J. Barriga and R. Reynolds. Special attention is given to the instruction of the elected, to the unctions (head and hands) and to the variants recorded in the manuscripts.

    Le présent article se fonde sur les ordines du pontifical de Roda et du pontifical romain de Vic, deux manuscrits composés dans la première moitié du xie siècle. Leurs variantes sont analysées au regard des ordines contemporains transmis par les pontificaux de type romano-germaniqueet anglais. L’objectif est d’expliquer les caractères nouveaux et originaux du rite vers l’an mil, dans le sillage des travaux fondateurs de M. Andrieu, J. Barriga et R. Reynolds. Une attention spécifique est portée à l’instruction de l’élu, aux onctions (tête et mains) et aux variantes attestées dans les manuscrits.
