Resumen de Factores que inciden en el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico en el contexto educativo rural

El presente escrito presenta los resultados parciales del estudio Factores que inciden en el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico del estudiante de la Sede Principal de la Institución Educativa Rural [IER] Valentina Figueroa Rueda el cual contrasta con los puntajes obtenidos en las Pruebas de Sociales y Ciudadanas Saber 11 desde el año 2017 hasta el 2023; siendo su objetivo determinar los factores que inciden en el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico del estudiante de la Sede Principal de la Institución Educativa Rural [IER] Valentina Figueroa Rueda el cual contrasta con los puntajes obtenidos en las Pruebas de Sociales y Ciudadanas Saber 11 desde el año 2017 hasta el 2023. El diseño corresponde a la investigación-acción en el que participaron 86 estudiantes de los grados 7° a 11°; la recolección de datos se basa en la aplicación de pruebas diagnósticas de comprensión lectora y tipo de pensamiento, complementado con guiones de observación conductual; respecto a los resultados, son notorias las falencias de comprensión lectora y el tipo de razonamiento no se adscribe suficientemente a las características de un pensador crítico; en su discusión, aunque los resultados evidencian vacíos formativos, una única prueba no es suficiente para determinar el grado de comprensión de un texto, puesto que factores como el estado de ánimo, el tipo de interpretación subjetiva, afectan su desempeño, ni mucho menos un test estandarizado establece que alguien piensa de manera crítica cuando esta es una condición individual de comprender las situaciones que acontecen en el entorno rural que se habita.

This paper presents the partial results of the study Factors that influence the development of critical thinking of the student of the principal campus of the Rural Educational Institution [IER] Valentina Figueroa Rueda which contrasts with the scores obtained in the social and citizen knowledge tests 11 from 2017 to 2023; this objective being to determine the factors that affect the development of critical thinking of the student of the principal campus of the Rural Educational Institution [IER] Valentina Figueroa Rueda which contrasts with the scores obtained in the social and citizen knowledge tests 11 from 2017 to 2023. The design corresponds to action research in which 86 students from grades 7 to 11 participated; the collection data is based on the application of diagnostic tests of reading comprehension and type of thinking, complemented by behavioral observation scripts; regarding the results, the shortcomings in reading comprehension are evident and the type of reasoning is not sufficiently ascribed to the characteristics of a critical thinker; in their discussion, although the results show training gaps, a single test is not enough to determine the degree of understanding of a text, since factors such as mood, the type of subjective interpretation, affect your performance, much less a standardized test establishes that someone thinks critically when this is an individual condition of understanding the situations that occur in the rural environment in which they live.
