    El Congreso de Investigación Aplicada en Salud y Medicina, organizado por la Universidad Abierta Interamericana, reunió 59 investigaciones presentadas por 172 autores. Este evento destacó la importancia de la salud ambiental, subrayando cómo los factores ambientales influyen en la salud humana y la necesidad de políticas públicas para entornos más saludables. Además, se exploraron innovaciones en la atención integral y humanizada al paciente, enfatizando el uso de tecnología con enfoque empático para mejorar diagnósticos y tratamientos. La enfermería también tuvo un papel central, con estudios sobre capacitación y sostenibilidad en los sistemas de salud. La educación en ciencias de la salud fue otro eje clave, abordando el uso de tecnologías digitales y enfoques interdisciplinarios para preparar a los profesionales del futuro. Este congreso reafirmó el compromiso de la universidad con la investigación y la innovación para construir un futuro más saludable e inclusivo.

    The Congress of Applied Research in Health and Medicine, organized by the Universidad Abierta Interamericana, brought together 59 research papers presented by 172 authors. This event highlighted the importance of environmental health, underscoring how environmental factors influence human health and the need for public policies for healthier environments. In addition, innovations in integral and humanized patient care were explored, emphasizing the use of technology with an empathic approach to improve diagnosis and treatment. Nursing also played a central role, with studies on training and sustainability in health systems. Health sciences education was another key focus, addressing the use of digital technologies and interdisciplinary approaches to prepare the professionals of the future. This congress reaffirmed the university's commitment to research and innovation to build a healthier and more inclusive future.
