Resumen de Gestión tecnológica de los cuidadores geriátricos

  PROBLEMA: se requiere comprender las necesidades que existen durante la gestión del cuidador(a) y su entorno digital / tecnológico. OBJETIVO: obtener información fiel y sensible de personas que tienen la responsabilidad de guiar y/o cuidar a adultos mayores siendo más específicos: (1) evaluar, conocer y enfocar los esfuerzos para observar la dependencia o independencia del adulto mayor, (2) identificar a las generaciones humanas involucradas en el proceso, (3) recabar información segura y certificada en línea desde cualquier dispositivo digital (móvil, computador o tablet). MÉTODO: descriptivo, obteniendo cantidad y cualidad de la muestra de veinte y siete cuidadores(as) evaluados(as). RESULTADOS: se obtuvieron con el apoyo de escalas construidas a la medida con información captada a través de un formulario con veinte preguntas. CONCLUSIÓN: el adulto mayor (Generación Baby Boomer) en este estudio presenta un alto grado de independencia siendo acompañado por familiares en su mayoría de la Generación X que tienen intereses similares por ser contiguos en el tiempo, ambos con un nivel de conocimiento bajo de la tecnología.

  PROBLEM: it is necessary to understand the needs that exist during the management of the caregiver and their digital / technological environment. OBJECTIVE: obtain accurate and sensitive information from people who have the responsibility of guiding and/or caring for older adults, being more specific: (1) Evaluate, know and focus efforts to observe the dependence or independence of the older adult, (2) Identify to the human generations involved in the process, (3) Collect secure and certified information online from any digital device (mobile, computer or tablet). METHOD: descriptive, obtaining quantity and quality from the sample of twenty-seven evaluated caregivers. RESULTS: they were obtained with the support of scales built to measure with information captured through a form with twenty questions. CONCLUSION: the older adult (Baby Boomer Generation) in this study presents a high degree of independence being accompanied by relatives, mostly from Generation X who have similar interests in being contiguous in time, both with a low level of knowledge of technology.
