The workshop began in June 2011 with a journey from the global aspect to the local aspect, from the big city to the small village.
Similarly, a journey from the (historical) local aspect of the big city to the global dimension of the contemporary historic village.
A journey from our respective cities to Madrid and from Madrid to Valencia, Alicante, Granada, Ronda, Gaucín in the Genal Valley and Tangier in Morocco.
A journey in search of the cultural diversity in cities that have a historical note of Andalusí and Islamic architecture.
A journey towards the reflection of the role of universities and heritage and the commitment of students (form the departments of planning, heritage management, architecture, geography, sociology, history, engineering, etc.).
