    ¿Qué es ser mujer en la guerra? ¿Cómo es que la guerra atraviesa el cuerpo de las mujeres? Son las preguntas que, por espacio de dos años, discutimos, elaboramos y, sobre todo, repensamos a partir del trabajo testimonial con mujeres excombatientes que formaron parte de las filas de distintos grupos guerrilleros en Colombia.

    Freud definió el psicoanálisis no únicamente como una terapéutica, ni como un corpus conceptual para dar cuenta, desde un punto de vista dinámico, tópico y económico de los procesos psíquicos inconscientes, sino también como un método de investigación. Este último se aplicó en la investigación que sirve de base a este libro, tanto a las entrevistas realizadas a viva voz por algunas excombatientes, que gentilmente accedieron a ellas, como a los testimonios dejados en diversos libros, en entrevistas para revistas o radio, televisión o medios digitales.

    Durante la investigación se develaron algunos posicionamientos subjetivos de las mujeres excombatientes, en los que apareció la negación de lo femenino como una forma de hacerse a un lugar en ese mundo prefigurado como masculino, sentirse igual al hombre o tener los mismos roles dentro del grupo armado; no obstante, la irrupción de lo femenino hace que la guerra tenga un “rostro de mujer” del que poco se ha investigado desde el psicoanálisis.

    What does it mean to be a woman in war? How does war affect women’s bodies? These questions have emerged in the last couple of years, and we have discussed, elaborated and, above all, rethought them based on the testimonial work made with ex-combatant women who part of the different guerrilla groups in Colombia were.

    Freud defined psychoanalysis not only as a therapy, nor as a conceptual corpus to account, from a dynamic, topographical and economic point of view, for the unconscious psychic processes, but also as a research method. The latter was applied in the research that serves as the basis of this book, both to the interviews conducted by some ex-combatants, who kindly agreed to them, and to the testimonies left in various books, in interviews for magazines or radio, television or digital media. During the research, some subjective positions of the female ex-combatants were revealed, in which the denial of the feminine appeared as a way of taking a place in that world prefigured as masculine, feeling equal to men, or having the same roles within the armed group; however, the irruption of the feminine makes the war have a “woman’s face” of which little has been investigated from the psychoanalytic point of view.

    During the research, female ex-combatants revealed some new perspectives, in which taking a place in that masculine prefigured world, feeling equal to men, or having the same roles within the armed group meant the denial of the feminine.

    Nevertheless, the irruption of the feminine gives war a “woman’s face” that has been little investigated by psychoanalysis.
