Información General

Resumen

  • The book is divided into nine chapters. The first deals with the "AnatomicUltrasound Correlation of the Hyperplasic Prostate Gland". We therefore study its surgical anatomy, indispensable for understanding the anatomical localization of benign and malignant prostate pathology. The second chapter describes the methodology used for the purpose of this book. The third is titled "From the Fasciae to the Ligaments: Pubovesical Ligaments and Puboprostatic Ligaments"; in it we present their ontogenetic relationship with the endolpelvic fascia. In the fourth chapter we study the periprostatic fascia or pelvic fasciae, i.e. the visceral and parietal sheets of the lateral pelvic fascia. In the fifth the Denonvilliers aponeurosis. In the sixth the right and left posterolateral angles, which are the result of convergence of the aforementioned Denonvilliers aponeurosis with the periprostatic fascia. The seventh is titled "Prostatectomy, Erector Nerves and Erectile Dysfunction". The eighth chapter concerns erectile dysfunction, the neurovascular bundle, and the figures of Salvador Gil Vernet and Patrick C. Walsh. Finally, the ninth focuses on the male and female urogenital sphincter
