    • The Parish church of NuestraSeñora de la Asunción in Llíria is one of the most important churches of the 17th century in the ComunitatValenciana because of its size and the astonishing façade reflecting the regulations of the counter-reform but also, it is one of the most forgotten, unknown and above all, understudied building. This research project is presented from an architectural point of view and includes the study of the building itself based on the historical and morphological studies, the construction process and the analysis of the building materials, thereby obtaining a study as complete and faithful as possible of the construction. Due to lack of supporting documentation from the building, one of the fundamental aspects of the research has been to obtain, primarily, graphic documentation that allowed us to obtain a three-dimensional model of the church as a whole and the different drawings of the building. For this, different systems of analysis have been used, and by applying new tools, such as laser scanner, it has been obtained not only the drawings but also the evolution of a structural hypothesis of the building. Another main contribution in this work and in line withfuture investigations of the building has been the analysis of the materials in which several laboratory tests and applied non-destructive techniques (infrared technology) have been carried out providing a comparative study between the two.
