- Resumen
La tesis es un amplio y ordenado estudio de los aspectos económicos o relacionados con esa ciencia, contenidos en el Quijote.
Esta dividida la tesis en tres partes fundamentales: Una primera con un estudio previo de la estructura de la obra. La segunda es un análisis, sobre la personalidad de Cervantes, como economista.
Y la tercera, que podríamos calificar como la auténtica tesis, es el estudio de los principios económicos contenidos en el Quijote.
En ella se tratan los temas de índole económica que se encuentran en la novela, como la economía, la propiedad, la pobreza, el trabajo, la moneda, los impuestos, el comercio, la agricultura, la ganadería, los salarios y el arbitrismo.
También se han tratado temas más alejados de la economía, pero que hemos creído interesantes para un conocimiento más amplio y profundo de la materia, como la llamada sociología ética, la geografía política o el derecho, y otros como el entorno social, el mundo de los viajes (mesones y ventas), la libertad o la anarquía, que han servido para darle a la tesis el contenido de amplitud, sobre el tema principal, que se buscaba.
Así mismo se han incluido cuestiones más distantes todavía de la economía clásica, como la religión, la medicina, la higiene, las enfermedades o la sociología tradicional para perfilar con mayor precisión determinadas cuestiones de la España de la época y su reflejo en el Quijote.
Se remata la tesis con las preceptivas Conclusiones que, en número de veintiuna, compendian el conjunto del contenido del trabajo.
SUMMARIZE The thesis it is a wide and tidy study of the aspects economic or related to this science, contents in the Quijote.
Divided this one the thesis in three fundamental parts: The first one with a previous study of the structure of the work.
The second one is an analysis, on the personality of Cervantes, as economist.
And the third one, which we might qualify as the authentic thesis, is the study of the economic beginning contained in the Quijote.
In her there treat each other the topics of economic nature that the wages and the arbitrismo are in the novel, as the economy, the property, the poverty, the work, the currency, the taxes, the trade, the agriculture, the ranching.
Also topics more removed from the economy have treated each other, but that we have believed interesting for a knowledge more wide and deep of the matter, as the so called ethical sociology, the political geography or the right, and others as the social environment, the world of the trips (inns and sales), the freedom or the anarchy, which they have served to give him to the thesis the content of extent, on the principal topic, which was looked.
Likewise more distant questions have been included still of the classic economy, as the religion, the medicine, the hygiene, the diseases or the traditional sociology to outline with major precision determined questions of the Spain of the epoch and his reflection in the Quijote.
The thesis is finished off by the obligatory Conclusions that, in number of twenty-one, reflect and summarize the set of the content of the work.
