La realidad descubre diversidad de situaciones, de origen natural o humano, que viven las personas en el contexto familiar y comunitario, muchas de las cuales les resultan amenazantes o dañinas. Esto interpela a la enfermería a contribuir al cuidado de las personas en sus experiencias cotidianas, para aportar a su salud y bienestar. El propósito de este estudio es responder a ese desafío, mediante el conocimiento de cómo las personas, en una comunidad, definen los eventos que amenazan o dañan su vida y el tipo de afrontamiento que realizan. El objetivo general del estudio es describir y analizar las características de las situaciones de amenaza o daño experimentadas por las personas en la vida cotidiana y la forma de afrontarlas.

The reality discovers diversity of situations, of natural or human origin, through which the persons live in the familiar and community context, many of which they turn out to be threatening or harmful. This addresses to the nursing to contributing to the care of the persons in daily experiences, to reach to health and well-being. The intention of this study is to answer to this challenge, by means of the knowledge of how the persons, in a community, define the events that threaten or damage the life and the type of confrontation that they realize. The general aim of the study is to describe and to analyze the characteristics of the situations of threat or hurt experienced by the persons in the daily life and the way of confronting them.
