    El presente trabajo de investigación, intitulado: “ Formulación del Planeamiento Estratégico para mejorar la eficiencia y la eficacia de la Gestión en la I.E. Ingeniería de Trujillo, es de corte cuantitativo, que tiene por finalidad indagar y analizar sobre el uso del planeamiento estratégico y los resultados de gestión educativa en la Institución Educativa en referencia en el período 2010-2011. Para llevar a cabo dicha investigación, adoptamos el criterio que el universo poblacional y la población muestral, estuvo conformada por la totalidad de los integrantes de la institución educativa seleccionada: personal directivo, docentes, administrativo, padres de familia y alumnos de nivel secundaria de dicha institución educativa. En cuanto a la metodología empleada, se empleó la denominada cuasi experimental, evaluando a la institución educativa en estudio, “ antes” y “ después de” del planeamiento estratégico. De acuerdo a los datos obtenidos se procesaron utilizando técnicas estadísticas para el manejo de datos cuantitativos, así como; con los resultados de las investigaciones revisadas en el marco teórico y la experiencia profesional y docente de la propia investigadora. Con base en esta contrastación, se presenta una serie de recomendaciones y acciones concretas para el corto, mediano y largo plazo, tanto en el aspecto de calidad como en el administrativo en la I.E. Ingeniería de Trujillo.

    The presearch entitled “ Formulation on the Strategic Planning as an administrative instrument in order to optimize the management results of the IE. Ingeniery of Trujillo”. It is a quantitative way, which has the purpose to investigate about educational use of strategic planning and the result of Education management in the Private Institutions of the Catholic Consortium from 2010 to 2011. To carry this research out, we adopt the criterion that universe population and the sample population were consisted of the totally members from the selected educational institution: managing staff, teachers, administrative staff, parents and students from the secondary level. As for the methodology used, it was pre-experimental, which evaluated the Educational Institutions “before” and “after” to apply the Model of evaluation based on the Strategic Planning, According to the information obtained which were processed using statistics techniques to handle quantitative data, as well as, with the result of the researches checked in the theoretical frame and the own professional experience as a professor and manager of the research. Based on the contrastation, we present a series of recommendations and concrete actions for the short, medium and long term that Private Educational Institutions should adopt to improve their results of the Academic – Administrative Management of the IE.
