Speaking of the candidate, I must say that he masters most of the techniques available in Contact Topology as the writing of Chapter 2 and 3 show. He has also a deep formation in Algebraic Geometry, Algebraic Topology and Differential Geometry. He is clearly a mature mathematician. He has an awesome enthusiasm and energy that makes enjoyable to teach him and to discuss with him for hours and hours.
