    El objetivo del estudio fue comparar el efecto de la metodología de enseñanza global y analítica sobre algunos fundamentos técnicos en niños de 8-9 y 10-11 años en etapa de iniciación al fútbol en la ciudad de Hermosillo, Sonora, México. Se evaluaron los fundamentos técnicos mediante la batería de test de �The Soccer Star Challenge� de Tim Holt (1988). Los fundamentos evaluados fueron el regate, conducción del balón y golpeo del balón con ambos pies y cabeza, antes y después de 40 sesiones de entrenamiento con cada respectiva metodología. Además, se evaluó el nivel de percepción de diversión generado en el entrenamiento mediante el �Cuestionario de diversión con la práctica deportiva� asociado a cada uno de los programas. Los resultados indicaron que ambos grupos mejoraron en todos los fundamentos técnicos al finalizar el programa de entrenamiento. Además, ambas metodologías fueron efectivas, ya que no se encontró diferencia significativa en la mejora de los gestos técnicos y en el grado de diversión entre las metodologías evaluadas. Para el diseño de un programa de enseñanza de fútbol en etapa de iniciación, se podrían emplear actividades que involucren ambos modelos para mejorar todos los gestos técnicos, así como ofrecer diversión a los participantes

    In modern times we live are currently incipient studies in sport, and there are areas that are still subject of discussion and debate. Among the most important issues is the training of technicians, the orientation of school sports and sports initiation. Currently, no methodological guidance in sports initiation seems appropriate and does not have the key that would encourage this learning process.

    The studies focused on comparing teaching methodologies football sport initiation have not obtained conclusive results about what is the appropriate methodology in the teaching of football at this stage. Consequently, the aim of the study was to compare the effect of global and analytical methodology teaching on some technical fundamentals in children 8-9 and 10-11 years at initiation stage football. The technical foundations were evaluated by test battery "The Soccer Star Challenge" of Tim Holt (1988).

    The technical skills evaluated were dribbling, ball conduction and hit the ball with both feet and head, before and after 40 training sessions with each respective methodology. Moreover, the perceived level of fun generated in training was assessed by the "Questionnaire of fun with the sport" associated with each of the programs. The results indicated that both groups improved in all technical fundamentals at the end of the training program. Moreover, both methods were effective, since no significant difference found in improving technical gestures and the degree of entertainment in methodologies evaluated.

    For the design of a teaching program football initiation stage, could be employed activities involving both models to improve all technical gestures as well as offering fun for the participants.
