  Los test objetivos- o llamados objetivos- limitan a los estudiantes a la reproducción pasiva de lo que han leído, lo que no estaría errado conceptualmente, sino que su falencia fundamental es que restringen la participación y el proceso constructivo del lector, además de limitar la estimación evaluativo de la comprensión al nivel inicial, en el cual sólo se establece una relación básica entre lector y texto, mediatizada sólo por la información explícita. Lo señalado distorsiona el proceso constructivo que subyace en la comprensión lectora; por tal razón, en el presente artículo se presenta un análisis de lo que efectivamente tendría que ser evaluado y las principales condiciones que debería cumplir un modelo de estimación holístico y auténtico de la comprensión lectora.

  The objective tests- or so called- limit the students to the passive reproduction of what they have read, which would not be mistaken conceptually, but their main failure is that they restrict participation and that the reader¿s constructive process, apart from, limiting the evaluative appraisal of comprehension to a beginning level, in which only a basic relation between reader and text is established, mediatized only for explicit information. The above mentioned, distorts the underlying constructive process in reading comprehension; because of that, in the current article an analysis of what should be effectively evaluated and the main conditions that what a natural and authentic appraisal pattern of reading comprehension is presented.
