Sobre los refranes de "El Quijote"

    Muchas obras se han escrito sobre la inmortal obra de Miguel de Cervantes que ha inspirado a escritores, poetas, filósofos, compositores, artistas y, por supuesto, lingüistas. En el presente artículo se destacan varios puntos de interés sobre el inagotable refranero de El Quijote, en particular su actualidad, su importancia y su carácter representativo para la lengua española de hoy datos que tienen sin duda una importante aplicación al ámbito de la enseñanza. Entre más de doscientas paremias populares que aparecen en El Quijote, unos 50 refranes han participado en mi estudio sobre la supervivencia del refrán español y la mayoría de ellos pertenecen... (Ver más) a lo que podemos llamar ¿mínimo paremiológico español¿, es decir, el acervo de refranes que necesariamente conoce y usa un joven hablante nativo en España. Si los refranes son enunciados que reflejan la realidad de un país en un momento determinado de su historia, se puede concluir que la actualidad española ha heredado mucho de los personajes inmortales de Miguel de Cervantes.

    A great number of different works were inspired by the immortal masterpiece of Miguel de Cervantes, writers and poets, artists and philosophers, musicians and linguists have contributed to the popularisation of the novel. In this article I highlight several points of interest concerning the inexhaustible proverb heritage collected in The Quixote; particularly its actuality, its importance and its representative character for the modern Spanish language - all these features are of great importance to the Spanish language teaching. Among more than two hundred popular proverbs cited in The Quixote, around 50 entries were included in my study about... (Ver más) the survival of the Spanish proverb and almost all of them belong to so called ¿Spanish paremiological minimum¿, in other words, to the stock of proverbs which an average young native speaker in Spain necessarily knows. The proverbs used several centuries ago in the Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes are of great importance as proverb heritage to the contemporary Spanish language.
