La evaluación de la docencia universitaria: Dimensiones y variables más relevantes

    En este artículo se expone la construcción y aplicación de un cuestionario para la evaluación de la docencia universitaria, con un enfoque formativo, dentro de la evaluación institucional de la Universidad. Se han considerado las experiencias realizadas en dieciocho universidades españolas para este fin y los instrumentos que éstas han utilizado. El cuestionario construido se ha aplicado al alumnado de todas las Facultades y Centros de la Universidad de Jaén. El análisis factorial realizado ha puesto de manifiesto cuatro factores: Interacción con el alumnado, Metodología, Obligaciones Docentes y Evaluación y Medios y Recursos. Estos cuatro factores explican el 64.77% de la varianza. Dentro de cada una de estas dimensiones se consideran las variables más valoradas por el alumnado; con objeto de establecer las dimensiones que más predicen la valoración de la docencia universitaria se ha realizado un análisis de regresión múltiple. Junto a los datos obtenidos y analizados se presentan unas líneas futuras de actuación

    In this article there is exposed the construction and application of a questionnaire for the evaluation of the university teaching, with a formative approach, inside the institutional evaluation of the University. Have been considered the experiences realized in eighteen Spanish universities for this purpose and the instruments that these have used. The constructed questionnaire has been applied to the student body of all the Faculties and Centers of the University of Jaén. The analysis factorial realized has put of manifest four factors: Interaction with the student body, Methodology, Educational Obligations and Evaluation and Means and Resources. These four factors explain 64.77 % of the variance. Inside each of these dimensions are considered the variables most valued by the student body; in order to establish the dimensions that more expects the valuation of the university teaching has been realized an analysis of multiple regression. Close to the obtained and analyzed information a few future lines of performance appear.
