La teoría fenomenológica del "Logos" en la filosofía de la Razón Vital de Ortega

    Tras el dominio del idealismo y del positivismo, que habían vaciado la realidad de ser e imposibilitado una filosofía con nivel ontológico, Ortega, animado por sus propias inclinaciones personales, herederas de la tradición naturalista y panteísta del Renacimiento, asumió con el concepto de razón vital la devolución del logos a las cosas del mundo de la vida, debida a la fenomenología de Husserl, como vía para la renovación de la metafísica. La conexión con Husserl impulsó también a Ortega a defender, bajo el concepto de perspectiva, la estructura 'profunda' del logos y el papel de la actividad lógica antepredicativa del sujeto en la constitución de la realidad. El resultado fue la configuración de la filosofía raciovital como una fenomenología mundana, que Ortega denominaba 'salvación'.

    After the domination of idealism and positivism, which had emptied reality of being and prevented a philosophy with an ontological level, Ortega, whose own personal inclinations were heirs to the naturalistic and pantheistic tradition of the Renaissance, assumed together with the concept of vital reason, the devolution of logos to the things of the life-world, coming from the Husserlian phenomenology, in search of a way for the renewal of metaphysics. The connection with Husserl also impelled Ortega to uphold, under the concept of perspective, the 'deep' structure of logos and the role that the logical prereflexive activity of subject plays in the constitution of reality. The result of this was the configuration of ratiovital philosophy as a world phenomenology, which Ortega termed 'salvation'.
