  • Resumen
    • Hospitality programs aim to nurture students as future leaders in the field of the hospitality industry. While environmental protection is a trend in the hospitality industry, hospitality programs have not yet reflected this trend in their curricula. By employing a content analysis and an online field survey, this study attempted to identify the current status of environmental education and evaluate hospitality students' perceptions of environmental education needs in the U.S. Results indicated that even though not many selected hospitality programs have offered environmental courses, about 60% of students in this study believed environmental education was becoming more important and beneficial for their future careers.
