    En diferentes tratados y estudios se han analizado escenas y momentos lúdicos que han quedado inmortalizados en distintos soportes como la fotografía, pintura, cómic, escultura, literatura, publicidad, filatelia, cerámica, cine, etc. Sin embargo, hasta el momento no se ha prestado atención a los juegos populares que aparecen plasmados en los décimos de la lotería.

    En este contexto, este artículo resume un estudio introductorio a las representaciones de las actividades lúdicas en un soporte que normalmente pasa desapercibido para el investigador, los décimos de lotería.

    A este respecto, se concluye, entre otras cosas, que las ilustraciones de la lotería constituyen una valiosa fuente de conocimiento que puede contribuir a mejorar la comprensión de los significados sociales de dichas apasionantes prácticas.
