    Mi experiencia en Reggio Emilia empezó hace dos años. Cuando conocí el sistema educativo de la ciudad, descubrí un gran sistema de valores que acompaña y sostiene la cotidianidad de la escuela. Una escuela que tiene en sus manos defender, difundir y valorar una imagen del niño como ser competente e inteligente. Este principal valor sobre la imagen del niño, junto con todos los demás valores igualmente importantes, dan sentido a cada acción que maestros, educadores y demás adultos, que trabajan en la escuela, ponen en práctica para la educación de los niños. Un sistema de valores que viene sostenido, a su vez, por un gran sistema de instituciones y, sobretodo, un sistema de personas que discuten, dialogan e intercambian experiencias y pensamientos. Es para mí un gran honor poder participar en una experiencia educativa como la de Reggio Emilia porque me permite, como maestra, construir un pensamiento crítico y elaborado sobre la educación de los niños y mi práctica educativa del día a día.

    My experience in Reggio Emilia started two years ago. When I met the educative system of the city, I discovered a big system of values that goes and holds the quotidianity of the school. A school that has the role of defend, spread and value an image of the child as a competent and intelligent person. This main value about the image of the child, together with all the other values also important, give sense to each action that teachers, educators and other adults that work in the school, put in practice for the education of the children. A system of values that is supported by a system of institutions and, overcoat, by a system of people that discuss, dialogue and exchange experiences and thoughts. For me, it's a big honour to participate in an educative experience as the one of Reggio Emilia because it permits me, as a teacher, to construct a critic and elaborated thought about the education of the children and about my educative practice of each day.
